Background and Overview of SEAROC» |

| SEAROC (Society for Education, Awareness, Rehabilitation and Research On Cancer) was formulated by Dr. Anish Maru, Dr. Dinesh Mangal and Dr. Anil Gupta in Jaipur in 2003. SEAROC’s objectives are: |

| • | SEAROC undertakes assist, propagate and encourage in all manner work for Awareness about cancer in general Population. |
| • | SEAROC establish, manage, develop, promote, centers and libraries etc. for comprehensive medical, audio visual and counseling services for patients suffering from Cancer problems and likely other problems. |
| • | SEAROC educate and create public awareness about the disease, its early detection and treatment free of cost or minimum cost to such patients. |
| • | SEAROC assist promote and encourage higher education, grant scholarships, fellowship, loans, research and travel grants and aids for educational purpose including to those doctors & paramedical staff that are associated and connected with Cancer. |
| • | SEAROC establish, contribute and run school, colleges, technical training institutions, scientific laboratories, research centers for educational purpose, control & treatment of Cancer and other likely diseases and not for purpose of profit within meaning of sec.10 (23C) of the Income-Tax Act. 1961 as amended from time to time. |
| • | SEAROC provide medical relief to poor persons including free distribution of drugs and medicines, establishment, maintenance and support of institution or funds for medical relief, such as hospitals, dispensaries and the like and also to establish and promote centers for Yogic treatment, Psychiatric clinics, Rehabilitation Centers for the handicapped and such other medical projects as may help and alleviate human sufferings solely for philanthropic purpose. |
| • | SEAROC advances any other objects of general public utility particularly to establish and maintains homes for destitute, children and infirm, aged and handicapped, hostels for students, working women, crèches for infant, and to undertake such other projects that shall promote social and economic welfare and provided succor to the under privileged and weaker sections of the society on a charitable basis and not for purpose of profit. |
| • | SEAROC do all acts and activities which are conductive, ancillary and incidental for carrying on the objects. |
